The Center of Discovery is Excited to Partner with your Family!
If you school your students at home, you have come to the right place. The Center of Discovery would love the chance to partner with you in the all important task of educating your children. This fall we will be offering classes for students of all ages covering virtually all curricular areas. The heart and soul of The Center is our science classes. These classes run for thirty weeks (broken into three ten-week trimesters). Our writing classes for junior high and high school students also follow this schedule. The rest of our classes we refer to as intensives because they run from two to four weeks in length. There are intensives for students from K-6th and from 7th-12th. The subject areas for these intensives include: art, history, mathematics, science, technology, and writing. With the variety in subject matter, lengths of class, and age groupings, we are confident that you will be able to find something that will fit your students’ interests and your family’s schedule.

Let Friday be YOUR Day!
The Center of Discovery is proud to offer our “Friday at The Center” program. This is a special program for K-6th grade students. They come to The Center at 8:00 AM for our K-6th grade science class, eat lunch at The Center (a sack lunch), and then participate in both of the afternoon intensives. You pick them up at 4:00 PM after completing all of your cleaning, shopping, and errand running—or maybe after taking the day off! The best part is that your students have been learning all day, and you are refreshed going into the weekend.
Registering for each of these classes and intensives individually would cost $480 for one trimester. Registering for the “Friday at The Center” program only costs $325—a savings of $155! (This offer cannot be combined with any other special offers.)
Of course, if you cannot sign up for the entire trimester of classes and intensives, you are still welcome to have your student stay through lunch on the weeks that you have registered him/her for intensives.
